The balance of credits in the banking system of Tajikistan by the end of July this year has amounted to about 11 billion somoni, reports the press service of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
The regulator pointed out that in comparison with the same period last year, the balance of loans in republic banks have increased by 24%.
The National Bank noted that in this year continued the growth of the long-term lending. "From the structure of the credits balance becomes clear that 55.3% (6067.6 billion somoni) are long-term loans and 44.7% (4 911.1 billion somoni) are short-term loans", - underlined in the message.
It is noted that the average interest rate of loans in this period in the national currency has amounted to 23.64% and in foreign currency to 21,66% per annum.
According to the NBT, the volume of the issued micro-credits in January-July this year has amounted to more than 3.3 billion somoni. To the remote mountain regions were issued microloans totaling 598.9 million somoni of these funds.
