DUSHANBE, October 14, 2015, Asia-Plus – Two-day Tajik-German consultations on financial and technical cooperation are concluding here today, according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MoEDT).
Co-chaired by Mr. Saidrahmon Nazrizoda, Tajik First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and Ms. Marion Edel, Deputy Head of the Unit for China, Central Asia, Eastern Asia, Laos and Cambodia, Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the event reportedly focused on the progress of implementation of Germany-sponsored projects in Tajikistan.
The meeting participants expressed hope that consultations would give a new impulse to further expansion of close economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany.
They, in particular, noted that the Sustainable Development of Economy and Health Care spheres would remain priorities of their cooperation.
The main objective of the consultations is in discussing the current cooperation and preparations for intergovernmental negotiations on cooperation for 2016-2017.
