DUSHANBE, October 20, 2015, Asia-Plus – On Monday October 19, President Emomali Rahmon attended an official ceremony of opening of a 220kV power transmission line Qairoqqum-Asht, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
This 74.3-kilometer power transmission line has been constructed under financial support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The project included construction of new 220kV Qairoqqumm-Asht transmission line, rehabilitation of the Qairoqqum 220kV substation and construction of a new bay in Asht 220kV substation. A total cost of the project is 11.2 million U.S. dollars.
