DUSHANBE, November 25, 2015, Asia-Plus /Avaz Yuldoshev/ -- A section of the Bokhtar Street from the Shotemur Street to the Mirshakar Street will be closed for traffic for seven months -- from November 26, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
“The street will be closed as work on rehabilitation of it starts,” an official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, the traffic will be organized along the adjacent streets.
Old trees have been cut down along the street and young plants will replace them, the source said, adding that 108 cubic meters of the cutover trees will be handed over to the administration of Dushanbe’s Ismili Somoni district.
