DUSHANBE, December 15, 2015, Asia-Plus -- In Tajikistan, inflation for the first eleven months of this year has stood at 4.7 percent, which was 2.1 percent fewer than in the same period last year, according to the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

In November, Tajikistan’s inflation reportedly stood at 0.6 percent, 0.1 percent fewer than in November last year.

Last month, prices for foodstuffs reportedly increased by 0.3 percent.  Non-foodstuffs rose in cost by 1.5 percent in November.

Meanwhile, prices and rates for services rendered to the population fell 0.4 percent last month. 

An official source at Tajik central bank says the government expects the year-end inflation to stand at 7.5 percent in 2015.

Last year, inflation reportedly stood at 7.4 percent, 0.1 percent lower than it was originally forecasted.
