DUSHANBE, February 19, 2016, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s leading microfinance institution, IMON International, has installed 100 pay terminals (IMON-Pay) around the country with no commission fees, according to IMON International’s Office in Dushanbe

Most IMON-Pay terminals work round-the-clock seven days a week, the source said.

According to him, services of more than 30 companies may be paid through the IMON-Pay terminals: mobile and fixed line phones; Internet services; commercial TV services; repayment of loans in IMON International and other banks; payment of international operators’ services;  replenishment of WebMoney electronic purses; and so forth.

IMON International is the largest microfinance institution in Tajikistan with more than 107,000 customers served by the organization’s extensive national network of 130 branches and service outlets.

IMON International is a long-standing partner of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is also a shareholder in the company.  The EBRD became a shareholder in IMON International in November 2013,, alongside the Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO), with the aim of supporting IMON International’s goal to become a dedicated microfinance bank.
