The Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan has announces seventy-five vacancies.  Meanwhile, President Emomali Rahmon had earlier pointed to the necessity of cutting tax staff.

The Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan has announced contest for filling vacant positions.  The Tax Committee has announced seventy-five vacancies. 

The announcement posted on the Tax Committee’s website says there are vacancies in the Committee’s Central Office, Tax Directorate of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) and tax inspectorates of a number of cities and districts.  

Thus, the Tax Committee has announced vacancies in the GBAO Tax Directorate, tax inspectorates of the city of Khorog and Shugnan, Ishkashim, Roshtqala, Murgab, Rushan, Vanj and Darvoz districts in GBAO, tax inspectorates of the cities of Roghun, Vahdat, Hisor and Tursunzoda and Lakhsh, Tojikobod, Rasht, Sangvor, Faizobod, Varzob, Roudaki and Shahrinav districts (districts subordinate to the center).

Besides, the Tax Committee needs seven employees for working with the Data Center.

Meanwhile, in a statement delivered at a meeting with representatives of tax and customs agencies and banks in Dushanbe. President Emomali Rahmon noted on May 16 this year that it is necessary to cut the tax staff and develop digital system.  “It's time to end the old methods,” the president said.
