Economic courts of Tajikistan have transferred 1,891,434 somoni (equivalent to more than 183.5 million USD) in state duties to the country’s budget over the first six months of this year.

Tajikistan High Economic Court chairperson, Ms. Mavlouda Qalandarova, remarked this at a news conference in Dushanbe on July 22.  

“Over the same six-month period, economic courts have considered 1,851 cases and judgments have been issued on 1,509 cases.   1049 cases have been resolved, 56 cases have been dropped and 74 applications have not yet been considered.  12 applications have been rejected and 318 other cases have been sent back for further investigation due to non-compliance with requirements,” Qalandarova said.  

According to her, four statements of claim involving foreign nationals or companies have been forwarded to economic courts in January-June this year.
