The average monthly salary in the republic is 1275 somoni ($ 124 at today's exchange rate).
The minimum wage in the country is 400 somoni.
The highest salaries in the republic are received by employees of financial intermediation and insurance (3726 somoni), information and communication (2610 somoni), builders (2390 somoni), workers in mining (2254 somoni).
Agricultural workers have the lowest wages - 531 somoni.
According to the CIS Interstate Committee, Tajikistan has the lowest wages among the Commonwealth countries.
The average monthly salary in Russia is $ 730, in Belarus - $ 518, in Ukraine - $ 388, in Azerbaijan - $ 370, in Armenia - $ 375, in Kyrgyzstan - $ 239.
