Barqi Tojik (Tajikistan’s national power utility company)’s debt to Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Sangtudinskaya GES-1, which operates the Sangtuda-1 hydroelectric power plant (HPP), rose 346.81 million somonis in a half-year to June 30, 2023, reaching more than 2.7 billion somonis (equivalent to more than 247 million U.S. dollars), the Sangtudinskaya GES-1’s website says.
