The Closed Joint-Stock Company "Investment and Credit Bank, Tajikistan" (ICB) and the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (KAZAKHEXPORT) have signed a strategic partnership and long-term cooperation agreement.
The official signing ceremony took place on February 19, 2025. The document was signed by Mirzosafar Safarov, Chairman of ICB, and Sergey Kuklin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KAZAKHEXPORT. This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening economic ties between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, aiming to foster cooperation in client insurance and trade financing.
Goals of the strategic partnership
The main objective of this agreement is to expand access for businesses in both countries to modern trade finance tools. By combining their expertise and resources, ICB and KAZAKHEXPORT intend to create favorable conditions for exporters and importers, facilitating the development of cross-border trade.
