On April 9, an open event, Digital Skills, took place at the IT Park in Dushanbe as part of ICT Week 2025. Speakers and guests discussed the digital skills necessary for a career in rapidly evolving technologies and explored the changes occurring in thinking, business, and communication in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).

The focus was on several areas, ranging from network infrastructure and data analytics to digital psychology, HR in IT companies, and the role of women in technology. Speakers shared personal experiences, practical examples, and analyzed real cases, emphasizing that digital skills are not only about technology but also about thinking, interaction, and team development.

Karina Karim, founder of Kareem Academy, spoke about how the role of HR is changing in the IT environment. She stressed the importance of forming a strong team, delegating tasks, and building healthy communication.
“HR is not just about recruitment; it is a strategic business partner,” she noted, sharing examples from her practice and highlighting the importance of quality personnel in the IT sector.

Amir Khotami, head of the Development and Marketing Department of JSC “Certification Centers, Government Services, and Digital Program Development,” talked about digital transformation. In his presentation “Interaction Between People and Technology: Digital Psychology,” he explained in detail how digital evolution affects behavior and thinking. The speaker also focused on the difficulties of transitioning to digital formats, including low digital literacy, mistrust of online services, and psychological resistance to change.

Equally interesting was the speech by Zarina Achilova, who discussed expanding opportunities for women in the tech sector, as well as Shukhratjon Sharipov and Manuchehr Gafforzon, who presented their perspectives on digital skills and data analytics in the context of AI implementation.

The session was conducted in an interactive format—participants actively asked questions, shared opinions, and discussed how digital skills impact careers and businesses. At the conclusion of the event, attendees noted the importance of such meetings for exchanging experiences, broadening perspectives, and understanding technological trends.
