KULOB, July 24, Asia-Plus — The Kulob prosecutor’s office has instituted criminal proceedings to probe into death of Russian citizen El Nour Philip Abdul Rahman, whose dead body was found near the village of Shakar in the Kulob district on July 15.
Firouz Kholiqov, an aide to the Kulob prosecutor, told Asia-Plus that El Nour Philip Abdul Rahman, a specialist in stage equipment with Moscow’s Puppet Theatre named after Sergey Obraztsov, arrived in Kulob on July 15 and the same day in the evening, his dead body without signs of violent death was found in one of irrigation canals ear the Shakar village.
“2 grams of heroin were found in one of his socks,” the aide said, adding that they are waiting for the results of forensic medical examination that was conducted by the Dushanbe lab.
