DUSHANBE, December 24, Asia-Plus -- 35 fires occurred in Tajikistan last week, leaving two dead, press service of the Tajik firefighting service said.
The two fatal fires were reported in the Sughd province. Two persons choked with carbon monoxide in two separate fires that occurred in Konibodom and Khujand last week.
A total damage caused by fires has amounted to 14,126 somonis, the press service said.
