KHUJAND, May 28, Asia-Plus  -- Two persons were killed and one other was injured Tuesday as heavy truck KamAZ and mini-lorry Gazel collided in the Spitamen district, according to the Sughd emergency management agency. 

The accident took place at 6:00 a.m. on the highway from Khujand to Istaravshan.  The mini-lorry driver and his one passenger died and the other passenger was seriously injured and taken to hospital

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
