DUSHANBE, June 2, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Five residents of Sughd’s Konibodom district with serious burn wounds were hospitalized yesterday, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

The source at a MoI said fiver persons, including two minors, were seriously wounded on June 1 as a gas cylinder blew up in one of houses in the village of Patar in Konibodom district.  The blast was caused by negligent operation of the gas cylinder, the source said.
