KULOB, October 1, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Six persons have been wounded in a blast in Kulob.
The explosion occurred on the outskirts of Kulob yesterday evening.
According to the Kulob prosecutor Nasrullo Mahmoudov, unidentified device exploded when a group of young men aged 17 to 18 were loading scrap metals on a heavy truck KAMAZ. “Six men were wounded,” said the prosecutor, “They were taken to the city hospital and their health conditions now give no reason for concern.”
Criminal proceedings have been instituted to probe into the incident and an investigation is under way.
