DUSHANBE, January 25, 2010, Asia-Plus -- According to some sources, the 28-year-old Fasliddin Zokirov, who was killed in Dushanbe on the night of January 24-25, was driver for the head of Dushanbe’s largest wholesale market, which is located within the compound of the Korvon bazaar in the Tajik capital. The head of this wholesale market is the son of Khol Mashrabov, ex-chairman of the Roudaki district.
According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the body of Fasliddin Zokirov with a stab wound was found not far from his house in Dushanbe’s neighborhood # 103.
“Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way,” the source at a MoI said. However, he refrained from giving further details of the crime.
