DUSHANBE, February 2, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Two persons have been wounded in an armed skirmish between two hooligans groups in Khorog, the capital of Gorno Badakhshan, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that the scuffle with use of firearms between two hooligans groups took place in Khorog Monday (February 1) afternoon, at about 1:00 pm. “Two persons with firearms wounds – the 27-year-old Parviz Nazirov was wounded in his right leg and the 26-year-old Shopulod Saidibroimov was wounded in his left leg – were taken to the regional hospital in Khorog,” the source said.
According to him, the Amonbekov brothers – the 36-year-old Navrouz and the 28-year-old Faromouz – are suspected of having perpetrated the scuffle. They are currently wanted by police he added.
