DUSHANBE, July 12, 2010, Asia-Plus -- As a result of a fire that broke out Saturday (July 10) evening, the Farahnoz Restaurant in Dushanbe burned down, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI says the fire devoured the restaurant’s property; a space of some 800 square meters was affected by the fire.
The firefighting specialists attributed the restaurant fire to an electrical malfunction. Commission is working to evaluate an actual volume of damage caused by the fire.
According to the MoI data, five fires were reported in the country over the past weekends. Since the beginning of this year, 259 fires have been registered in Tajikistan; four persons have been killed and 17 others have been injured in those fires.
