DUSHANBE, October 31, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Four persons were killed and at least seven others were injured on October 30 as three cars collided in the southern Khatlon province.
According to the Interior Minister traffic police directorate, the accident took place in the afternoon on the 64th kilometer of the Dushanbe-Qurghon Teppa highway in the territory of the Khuroson district.
“At least three vehicles were involved in the crash when Opel-Vectra went into oncoming traffic,” said the source. “As a result of the accident, four persons, including two minors, were killed in the crash and seven others sustained various injuries and were hospitalized.”
The cause of the accident is under investigation.”
