KHUJAND, December 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The driver and his three passengers survived by a miracle on December 21 after all-terrain vehicle Musso fell into a 110-meter precipice in the northern province of Sughd.
According to the Sughd police directorate, the accident took place in the Spitamen district Wednesday evening.
“Urunboy Yusupov, 23, probably failed to control his SsangYong Musso and it fell into a 110-meter precipice,” said the source. “The driver and his three passengers sustained various injuries and were taken to the Spitamen central district hospital.”
Meanwhile, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the same day in the Jabborrasoulov district. The 33-year-old resident of the village of Gulakandoz, Egam Dehqonov, died on the spot after being hit by a car.
333 traffic accidents have been reported in Sughd province over the first eleven months of this year; 137 people have been killed and 348 others have been injured in those traffic accidents.
