DUSHANBE, March 19, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Ms. Jamila Baydulloyeva, an official with the Hydrometeorology Agency of Tajikistan, says snowfall will continue in the Tajik capital for two days.
“Light snowfall is expected to continue on March 20,” said Baydulloyeva. “In the meantime, according to the preliminary forecasts, temperatures will rise to +17ºC -- +18 ºC on March 21.”
Meanwhile, some 22 centimeters of snow have reportedly hit the Tajik capital by Monday morning. Tajikistan has not seen such heavy snowfalls over the past decade, Baydulloyeva noted.
