Three people reported killed, another six injured as a result of two road accidents which occurred in eastern part of Tajikistan on Wednesday, May 23.
As reported by the Tajik Interior Ministry, the first accident occurred on the 27th kilometer of the road which links Khorog and Roshtkala region of GBAO when a 22-year-old driver of Mercedes-Benz hit two pedestrians. As a result of the accident two pedestrians, a 66-year-old woman and 11-year-old boy, died at the scene.
Abother accident occurred on the 130th kilometer of the Rasht-Jirgital highway when driver of Opel-Astra lost control over his car. The vehicle turned over killing a 6-year-old girl. The driver and another five passengers got multiple injuries.
