KHUJAND, September 13, 2012, Asia-Plus  -- Warrant Officer U.K., 22, the chief of the communication center at border unit # 2044 deployed in the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district, has committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with the government-issue Makarov pistol.

An official source at the Sughd police directorate says the military prosecutor’s office of the Sughd garrison has launched investigation into the incident.
