DUSHANBE, February 4, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Four persons were killed on February 3 as two cars collided in Khatlon province.
According to the Interior Ministry’s official website, the accident took place near the village of Chimbuloq in the Khuroson district Sunday afternoon. “Qutbiddin Kholov, 32, could not control his Toyota and it went into oncoming traffic and collided with Daewoo, driven by Muhibullo Yusupov, 23,” said the source. “As a result of the collision, Yusupov and his three passengers (his father, mother and sister) died on the spot.”
On the same day, two more fatal traffic accidents were reported in Dushanbe and the Roudaki district.
A hit-and-run collision in Dushanbe left a male pedestrian – 60-year-old Hikmatullo Norov – dead. He was hit by Toyota-Camry, driven by 21-year-old Qurbonshoh Safarali.
In the Roudaki district, one of passengers of Toyota-Camry – Isamtullo Saidov, 53 – was killed as Toyota-Camry, driven 60 year-old Mirzoumed Pirakov, flipped over.
