DUSHANBE, March 14, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A young Tajik woman was supposedly killed in a fire that broke out in the building materials marketplace, Abramtsevo, in Balashikha, Moscow oblast in the morning of March 13, Muhammad Egamzod, an official representative of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, told Asia-Plus today.
According to him, two young women were killed in the fire and one of them is supposedly Tajik national Marjona Akbarova, 24.
“The young female labor migrants had worked with the café, Alyoshka, which is located on the territory of the marketplace,” Egamzod said.
Meanwhile, according to information posted on the website of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s office for Moscow oblast, the fire broke out in the marketplace at 7:35 am and it was extinguished at 08:10 am. Rescuers reportedly found the bodies while removing constructions destroyed by the fire.
A total space of the marketplace is 500 square meters and the fire reportedly destroyed three pavilions, 50 square meters.
