DUSHANBE, March 29, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has ordered Dushanbe law enforcement authorities to take effective measures to find two missing cousins – the 6-year-old Malika Aralova and the 4-year-old Sabina Aralova.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says Ubaidulloyev has also expressed concern that some parents ignore requirements of the country’s law holding parents responsible for their children’s actions and education.
Mayor’s concern and order to take effective measures to seek missing girls reportedly came during an address to the 13th session of the Dushanbe local council (Majlis) of the fourth convocation that took place on March 28.
Malika Aralova, 6, and Sabina Aralova, 4, have been reported missing since March 25. The girls reportedly disappeared from the yard where they were playing and parents of both girls applied to the police station in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district.
