DUSHANBE, April 29, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Seven persons were killed and at least two others were injured on April 28 as two vehicles collided in Danghara district, Khatlon province.
According to the Interior Ministry traffic police department, the accident took place near the village of Qayumobod late Sunday.
Opel-Vectra, driven by Payrav Ashourov, 28, from the Shouroobod district, went into oncoming traffic and collided with Opel-Astra, driven by Bahriddin Sabourov, 23, from Vose.
As a result of the collision, the driver of Opel-Vectra and his three passengers as well as three passengers of Opel-Astra died on the spot, while two other persons sustained various injuries and were taken to hospital, the source said.
