DUSHANBE, November 12, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Seven persons were killed and at least three others were seriously injured on November 9 as two vehicles collided in the Fayzobod district.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the accident took place on the 17th kilometer of the Vahdat-Rasht-Jirgatol highway.
Opel-Astra, driven by Fridavs Yusupov, 34, reportedly went into oncoming traffic and crashed into Opel-Astra, driven by Sabzali Olimov, 38.
As a result of the collision, both drivers and two passengers died on the spot, three other passengers, including one-year-old girl, died on the way to hospital, and three other passengers with serious injuries are currently at the central district hospital in Fayzobood.
