DUSHANBE, February 17, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Four Kyrgyz being in a state of drunkenness have pelted Tajik national’s car with stones.
Resident of the Tajik village of Khoja Alo, Farhod Safarov, says the incident took place not far from the Kyrgyz frontier post, Kapchigai, on Saturday, February 15, at around 11:00 pm.
“Four Kyrgyz being in a state of drunkenness pelted the car of Mullomasoud Boboyev, the resident of Vorukh, which is part of Tajikistan’s exclave in Kyrgyzstan, with stones for no reason,” Farhod Safarov told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon.
As a result of the attack, the rear window glass of Boboyev’s Opel Zafira was broken, Safarov noted.
“Kyrgyz serviceman was with those drunken Kyrgyz young men but he did not interfere to prevent that act of hooliganism,” the source said, noting that the serviceman was identified as deputy commander of the Kapchigai frontier post M. Mamatkulov.
According to Isfara police officers, it has been already the third such an incident over this month.
The Isfara mayor’s office has confirmed that information but it has refrained from giving further details.
