DUSHANBE, April 25, 2014, Asia-Plus -- A well-known Tajik businessman and martial arts expert has been killed in Moscow, Radio Liberty’s Tajik Service reports.
Tajik media reports say unknown attackers shot and killed Shuhrat Yakhshimuradov near his house in the Russian capital on April 22.
According to media reports, Yakhshimuradov, 47, was the general manager of the Polish company Fair Play International.
In 1995, Yakhshimuradov was arrested in Moscow and charged with involvement in two murders. The charges were dropped later and he was eventually released.
Yakhshimuradov was also known for his successes in karate, tae kwon do, and kickboxing.
