DUSHANBE, May 11, 2014, Asia-Plus – One Tajik national was killed and at least two others were wounded in the Krasnogorsk district, Moscow oblast in the evening of May 7 after a group of unidentified persons fired at them.
According to the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, the incident took place in the Novo-Nikolsk settlement. “A group of unidentified persons burst into house, where eight migrant workers from Tajikistan were living, and open fire at them,” as source at the Tajik Embassy said. “Sattor Maqsoudov, 36, from Khatlon province died in hospital from wounds suffered in the incident and two other Tajik nationals who also sustained gunshot wounds in the incident are still undergoing medical treatment in the Krasnogorsk hospital.”
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
