DUSHANBE, June 16, 2015, Asia-Plus – A triple killing has taken place in Tursunzoda.
An official source at the Interior Ministry says a 25-year-old resident of Tursunzoda, Jamshed Rahimov, has been arrested on suspicion of committing a triple killing.
“Rahimov is suspected of killing his pregnant wife and his mother-in-law. Besides, Rahimov inflicted serous stab wounds on his sister-in-law (wife’s sister),” the source said.
According to him, the tragedy occurred on June 13. Rahimov reportedly inflicted deadly stab wounds on his wife Fazilat Razzoqova, 25, and mother-in-law Manzoura Abdulloyeva, 48, and serious stab wounds on his sister-in-law Nigora Razzoqova, 28, following family quarrel.
Nigora Razzoqova is still in hospital in critical health condition.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Jamshed Rahimov and an investigation is under way.
