DUSHANBE, April 29, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik emergency management agency warns of heavy rains in the country in early May.
The Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) under the Government of Tajikistan reports that changeable weather is expected to hit the country in the first days of May.
Torrential rains may cause rockfalls, landslides, and flooding. “In this connection, residents and guests of the republic are advised not to travel unnecessarily,” Orif Nozimov, a spokesman for the CES, told Asia-Plus Friday afternoon.
