DUSHANBE, March 28, Asia-Plus -- A large amount of heroin intended for Kyrgyzstan has been intercepted by officers from the Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA) in northern Tajikistan.
According to information from the DCA headquarters in Dushanbe, officers from the Sughd drug-control directorate found 11 packages containing 10.883 kilograms of heroin on Sunday [March 26] when they were searching residential building in the Bobojonghafurov district.
The householder was arrested on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
