DUSHANBE, July 5, Asia-Plus — The trial the former police officer Narimon Abdurahmonov began in the Supreme Court on July 4.
Judge Nour Nourov, who is taking in the trail, said that Narimon Abdurahmonov is charged with killing several persons in March 22006.
Proceedings started with the reading of the indictment, which charges Abdurahmonov with killing, inflicting serious bodily injury, and illegal possession of weapons.
We will recall that tragedy took place at the Mayakovsky Street in Dushanbe on March 22, 2006. residents of one of the residential buildings were celebrating the Navrouz holiday. Following quarrel, former police officer Narimon Abdurahmonov fired at three persons. One of them died on the spot, while two others sustained serious wounds and were taken to the hospital (later, one of them died of his wounds in the hospital).
After that, Abdurahmonov made for his acquaintance Isroil Sodiqov, who allegedly owed him a certain amount of money and also shot him to death. Several hours later, Abdurahmonov gave himself up.
