DUSHANBE, October 26, Asia-Plus -- A 25-year-old Nazokar Karimova, the daughter of the former deputy head of the Tajik Customs Committee, who was killed in car blast in 1998, has been killed, Asia-Plus has learned at the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that her body with numerous stab wound was found in her apartment Wednesday evening. “Besides, injection mark was found on her right hand,” said the source, “Experts in forensic medicine are currently working to identify what kind of injection it was.”
He added that nothing had disappeared from the apartment, and therefore, “one may suppose that the killing was committed owing to hostile relations.”
The Dushanbe prosecutor’s office has instituted criminal proceedings and an investigation is under way.
