KHUJAND, April 15, Asia-Plus -- The Sughd police directorate has reported the seizure of a large consignment of counterfeit banknotes of 10 somonis’ denomination.
The source at the Sughd police directorate said that 113 counterfeit banknotes of 10 somonis’ denomination had been confiscated from the 22 year-old resident of the city of Chkalovsk Naimjon Urunov.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against him and an investigation is under way, according to the source.
