DUSHANBE, June 5, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday June 4, officers from the Dushanbe police directorate seized some 6 kilograms of mercury, according to press service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The mercury weighing 5.8 kilograms was confiscated from the Dushanbe resident Nazarali Aliyev, the press service said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Nazarali Aliyev on the provisions of Article 206 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code – trafficking in drastic poisonous substances, and an investigation is under way.
