KHUJAND, September 12, 2008, Asia-Plus -- A 26-year-old resident of Sughd’s Mastchoh district Naim Bobojonov faces charge of having stolen eight tons of fuel oil from the territory of the State Unitary Enterprise Zarya Vostoka in the northern city of Taboshar.
According to the Sughd police directorate, Bobojonov took out 3,200 somonis’ worth of fuel oil in two days: on August 31 and September 2.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Bobojonov under the provisions of Article 224, Part 2 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – theft, and an investigation is under way.
