DUSHANBE, September 15, 2008, Asia-Plus -- New details emerged just now on the operation carried out by special investigation group of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in the northern city of Isfara on September 14.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-plus, Mahmadullo Asadulloyev, a spokesman for a MoI, said that the first report given by the MoI press service that the operation allegedly led to the arrest of a person suspected of having been involved in an August 28 attack on two police in Isfara had proved to be incorrect.
“Unfortunately, the suspect managed to escape, wounding one of police officers,” the spokesman
