DUSHANBE, February 25, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- Yung woman has been shot dead in the Dashtijum jamoat, Khatlon’s Shuroobod district.

According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the 28-year-old Naziramoh Niyoaova was found shot dead in her house in the Dashtijum jamoat.  “The preliminary investigation has established that unknown persons burst into her house on the nigh of February 23 and fired at her from hunting gun,” the source at a MoI said.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
