KHUJAND, June 10, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Two residents of Sughd’s Jabborrasulov district – the 42-year-old Odiljon Boltayev and the 41-year-old Olimjon Jalilov – have been convicted of forging driving licenses.
The Khujand city court sentenced Boltayev to one year in prison and Jalilov to two years in prison on June 9. The sentence followed their conviction on the charge of forgery of document and they will serve their terms in a minimum-security penal colony.
The source at the Khujand city court said Boltayev and Jalilov were arrested on February 14 this year on suspicion of having forged and pushed Kyrgyzstan’s driving licenses in the province.
