KHUJAND, July 8, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Seven criminal proceedings have been instituted against ten law enforcement officers in Sughd province since the beginning of this year, the Sughd prosecutor Khairullo Saidov announced at a press conference in Khujand on July 7.
“Among them are seven police officers, one judge and two tax officers,” the prosecutor said, noting that criminal proceedings against have been instituted against them on charges of office abuse, bribery and fraud.
