QURGHON Teppa, July 24, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Khatlon police have indentified persons who robbed the money transfer outlet of Eskhata Bank’s branch in Qurghon Teppa in February this year.
The Sughd police directorate chief Shodibek Rajabov said, “Our officers have indentified persons who robbed Eskhata Bank’s money transfer outlet on February 25, 2009, however, their names are not disclosed in the interest of investigation.”
According to him, the criminals left the country, and therefore, their names were put on the list of wanted persons.
As it had been reported earlier, unidentified persons attacked the money transfer outlet of Eskhata Bank’s branch in Qurghon Teppa on February 25, at around 12:00. Two armed persons in masks burst into the money transfer outlet and seized some 2,000 US dollars and nearly 55,000 Russian Rubles (RR). The assailants managed to escape; fortunately, no injured was reported.
