KHUJAND, January 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Ms. Lola Ashourova, chairperson of the Sughd Society of the Disabled Persons, was detained last Sunday on suspicion of having taken bribe, according to the Sughd police directorate.
“Ms. Ashourova was caught red-handed on January 24 when she was taking 300 U.S. dollars from local resident, Ms. Muyassar Aliyeva, for issuing forged service record to her,” the source said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Ashourova under the provisions of articles 32, part 3 (preparation for crime) and 340, part 2 (manufacture and sale of forged documents).
