DUSHANBE, April 13, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Police officers that have taken training course at the Canine Center of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) will patrol streets in Dushanbe with specially trained dogs.
Twelve officers from the Dushanbe police directorate that took short-term training course at the MoI canine center were given certificates on April 12.
The canine center chief Shuhrat Ulmasov says capable use of the specially trained dogs yields positive results and promotes revealing drug-related and other crimes.
Established in 2007, the MoI canine center now has 46 specially trained dogs.
