DUSHANBE, May 3, 2010, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan has taken additional measures to tighten fight against corruption.
On April 30, President Emomali Rahmon signed a decree on “Additional Measures to Strengthen Fight against Corruption,” according to presidential press service.
The decree obligates head of ministries and organizations to take adequate measures to counter corruption in their departments and they will face personal liability for corruption in their departments.
The government is to develop a plan of actions to ensure implementation of the additional measures within three months and strictly control the implementation of the plan, presidential press service said.
