KULOB, May 6, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Chief IT specialist for the branch of Tojik Sodirot Bonk (TSB) in Kulob, Habibullo Fozilov, stole 30,000 U.S. dollars, cracking computer network at TSB’s head office in Dushanbe, Asia-Plus has learned from a source at the country’s baking system.
“Cracking the computer network at the bank’s head office in Dushanbe, Fozilov stole 30,000 U.S. dollars and transferred them to his accounts at the branches of Agroinvestbonk and Amonatbonk (Tajikistan’s savings bank) in Kulob,” the source said.
According to him, Fozilov have already drawn the money from the accounts and left the country. “It is quite possible that he is now in Yekaterinburg, Russia because his parents received the last message from him from this city,” the source said, adding that the law enforcement authorities are investigating the crime.
